Our restaurant and rooms have been affected in the basement and low level areas by the flooding on 27 December 2015. Regrettably, we will be unable to open for business until the situation is resolved.
Work is continuing to progress steadily, but as yet we do not have a more specific date for reopening. We are working tirelessly behind the scenes to reopen as soon as possible but due to both the extent of the damage and the number of our properties affected, the work is taking some time to complete.
Unfortunately some structural damage to our building caused by the flood water has prevented us from moving forward with restoration works in this particular area, due to the complexity of the issues involved and the proximity of our building to the river Foss. In the meantime, we are continuing to restore our other surrounding properties.
We do not anticipate being open before the 2nd Quarter of 2017. We will provide further updates on an estimated reopening date as we have this information available.
If you are in receipt of a gift voucher for the restaurant or rooms, please be assured that our vouchers have no expiry date and will of course be accepted as a method of payment when we reopen. If you would prefer to receive a refund for any voucher purchased, under the circumstances we are happy to provide a refund to the purchaser via the original method of payment. Please contact us directly via email and we can advise the procedure for a refund request.

We will be open for Lunch on Monday 30th November 2015 from 12.00pm till 2.30pm. The menu available will be our a la carte menu.

12.00pm till 2.30pm & 6.00pm till 9.30pm

Please note that the last food order for Lunch is at 2.30pm and the last food order for Dinner is at 9.30pm (9.00pm on Sundays), the restaurant does not close at these times.
We will be closed all day on the following days:
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & 27th December 2015.
We will then be closed 1st – 7th January 2016 (inclusive).
We will re-open 8th January 2016 | 6.00 till 9.30.
