The Blue Bicycle offers beautiful modern rooms in the exclusive Franklins Yard area of York – literally in the city centre – only minutes away from the central attractions including York Minster .
Situated alongside the River Foss and behind The Blue Bicycle Restaurant they occupy a secluded mews position and are equipped to the very highest standards demanded by today’s discerning leisure and business travellers. They offer luxury, convenience, privacy and comfort for that short break for overseas, leisure or business visitors.
The rooms have a cool minimalist feel with tasteful contemporary interiors.
Some rooms have four poster king-sized beds, luxury fitted Villeroy & Boch bathrooms and individually fitted kitchen areas with all the built-in appliances required for modern living. The seating areas have large comfortable sofas and chairs to sink into whilst watching a late night movie on the TV or just enjoying a bottle of wine from the honesty bar. The Foss Room is unique with a 15 feet vaulted ceiling enhanced with exposed original beams.
You will be welcomed on arrival with a bottle of champagne, a basket of fresh fruit and the choice of either a full English or continental pastry breakfast which we serve on a platter for you to prepare in the room at your own leisure.
When booking a room it is advisable to make your table reservation for the restaurant at the same time. Private car parking is available in Franklins Yard.
